the nothing but net challenge was basically make a robot that could pick up a ball and throw it or drop it into either a high or low net. our robot which we named murphy (after murphy's law) didn't start out so good as we had faulty motors, faulty motor controls, a vex brain with nonfunctioning ports, but we worked through it and got it to actually move around and pick up balls. the way in which our robot picked up balls was using a conveyor belt but that didn't work very well but we went with it anyway.

this was building a test bed which is basically a large flat sheet of metal with a bunch of buttons and switches and in our case a dial that just give you the idea of what those switches functions ars so you have a better understanding for the full robot later.
Part one of the robotic arm challenge was to build a model/prototype arm out of cardboard, tape, string, popsicle sticks, glue, and other acceptable items. My groups arm is kind of functional as you have to pull the strings attached to the claw of the arm to move it and to make it close the claw.
The Tallest Tower was a challenge were a group of four people were given a paper bag of random objects and were instructed to use those objects to build the tallest tower in the class.
